what's the dress code for the the 49th annual grammys awards?

my brother is going to the grammys with his grilfriend and doesnt know what to wear or what he has to wear?

It's technically a formal affair, so a tuxedo or at least a matching suit. Despite the skimpy outfits worn by some of the celebrities, his GF should wear a tasteful evening dress. If in doubt, try to wear something which would look proper at a wedding.

Warning: Some of the honorees will dress like trash. Ignore them.
