I'll be 33 in July, but I'm not ready to have a baby yet. Will I be too old to have a baby at the age of 36?

I am 35 and have been trying since I was 32. They consider you of advanced maternal age at 35. I will have to have in vitro to get pregnant (due to an issue with my husband) and due to my age our success rate is signifigantly lower than at 34 and the price is higher. I wouldn't suggest for someone to have a child before they are ready, but if you really want one you should think about these things. I may never get to have a child now because we cannot afford the in vitro. Sure wish I hadn't waited so long.

Good luck!

Generally, yes.

Women's bodies start changing for menopause by then and it is harder to have a baby. If the woman does get pregnant, the chances of the baby developing abnormalities and birth defects are very high.

You will be in your 50s when your kid is a teenager - which is not good.

The best time is in your 20s.

You CAN adopt, however.

our last child was born when my wife was 36. he is normal. i was born when my mother was 42 back in the day when they smoked, drank, all that stuff during pregnancy. Although my answers on here won't justify this, I think I'm normal. ;)
