Well, if you shave it, it grows in thicker, and you have to constantly shave it. It is also common to get ingrown hairs and razor bumps which are a pain.
If you wax it, it stays smooth for longer than shaving but is oh so painful when you get it done.
Finally, you can use electric clippers/trimmers just to trim it.
It really depends on how extreme you want to shave it.
I think waxing is the easiest and the best way to maintain it but I caution you, it hurts really bad the first time { I almost cried } but you get used to it if you keep going regularly.
Or , you can leave it au natural!

i exploit a mix of strategies.. moist shave...then on a daily basis use an electric shaver... Hair removal cream could be a soreness to apply...i come across in case you trim the hairs til approximately 1cm long then use the cream for the main suitable timing that's simpler. have you ever been to a elegance salon?...they might propose you on the ideal way for you...

either to shave it, but if u do that u gotta maintain it every one to two days or the painfull way WAX it

you have three or four options
wax -painful but you get used to it
shave- but you have to upkeep it and it hurts when you miss
trim/pluck- if you have a lot of time to turn yourself into a sculpture "down there"
or nair- BAD IDEA
