Didn't we just see this question asked slightly differently?

- DSL or Commercial Cable connectivity.
- 802.11g or equiv. router
- Depending upon square-footage and obstructions, possibly external antenna or range booster.

You didn't mention: Free or Paid access? That will effect your purchasing decision

Huge Monitors connected to a bank of PCs in the back of the coffee shop so that the monitors are unappealing and too big to steal and the "brains" to the equipment is kept out of sight and out of mind in the back. Laptops would be gone in a New York second! Same for any Palm Pilot, hand held type device. Like the Library or Kinko's does. It's the cheapest safest way to offer this service.

If you offer it for free any wifi. Some DSL providers offer it free with the connection. Expect to pay $40-60 or so.

The device is called a gateway/router with 802.11A/B/G.
