what does it meen when my cd burner opens when i get ready to record?

it means the cd u put in is dirty or there's already music on it. this happened to me becuase we'd burn cd's and it would say there was a problem writing to the disc so we'd put the cd back in the cd'r case for later use and turns out it burnt the songs just not all of them. but yeah try a different brand of cd r's.

Usually this means that the media in the drive is not compatible for the burn...
