pubic shaving?

every time i shave "down there" i can never get it very smooth so recently instead of shaving down. (towards genitals) I have started shaving up ( toward belly button) this has caused me some excrutiating pain as it causes me to bleed out of the holes that once had hair. I don't understand i have been using brand new razors, liberal amounts of shaving cream and it is incredibly painful for me.

The best way to get rid of pubic hair is waxing. Because when you shave, you are supposed to shave in the direction the hair grows, not the opposite because you will irritate your skin very badly. The pubic area is a very sensitive area so you need to be really careful when shaving. Again, I suggest waxing.

my boy friend just shaves from the area just above the penis down under the scrotum. I also shave, for him. he said it makes it very smooth and more sensitive. I sure enjoy it, and he still keeps the hair above( I like that!) I too have problems at times, but find I am my worst critic. try in the shower...he does and seldom has any problems. hope this is not out of line.

Unless your acting in pornos, I see no reason to shave down there in the first place. Ingrown hairs, bleeding, pain ... it's just not worth it.

I would just trim very low instead, most girls I meet seem to prefer that anyway compared to all the way off.

Try using a MULTIPLE BLADE razor (disposable, MACH3, GILLETTE FUSION). Use soap when you shave. I shave every 2 - 3 days when I shower.After, apply some NON-ALCOHOL body cream.
