Well, In Eastern Europe there is not enough work 'in the office' style. So you have most of the men doing the mens work. Yes, same is here, building work is for men, but how many of the workers on the building site that do the heavy work are western? Not near as many. Also, you still have in some country of Eastern Europe the mandatory army service, a boy goes in and 9 months later returns as a man :)
However, I would much rather have the clean shaven office worker to be my partner than the rough handed builder. :P

All men are masculine compared to western white men, because their women haven't emasculated them (yet).
In black, Asian, Hispanic and East European cultures, men are expected to be men and little boys are valued. In white Britain especially, boys have to excuse themselves for existing and girls and women can do no wrong.
