women are more submissive to their husbands and husbands are supporters of the family, People know there place and stay in it call it old fashioned call it closed minded but hey it works for most people.....plus people in india have to work for things alot harder then people in america so they value things more and family is a main priority, your parents opinion and approval of your mate is the biggest thing in your life, most americans just dont have that.

One estimate about divorces in India is 5%, and in any case
it is less than 10%. You will not find the reason for it
in normal books.
During the second word war, the British military doctors who
conducted post-mortem on the dead found that the pineal gland
of the Indians is much larger than that in the British. The pineal
gland is the third eye. It is the seat of higher knowledge according
to the esoteric teachings in medieval Europe. Our Sanskrit texts
on Yoga and Tantra also say the same thing.
The book titled "A Dictionary of Mind and Spirit" by the British
writer Donald Watson (in page 244) also says that the pineal
gland in Indians is larger than that in Europeans.
According to ancient Yoga texts, the pineal gland or the third
eye is the seat whare the male and female energies of the
creation meet - the Agna Chakra. That is the reason why the
divorce rate is the lowest in India. Compare it with the fact
published in the news papers that more than 50% of eleigible
males in the world are living as bachelors.
Talaak is a muslim word, and there is no word for divorce
in any Indian language. Our ancients wanted us to live
in peace and harmony

because women still walk behind a man skirt..
A cow in India as more value then a woman .
and many have arranged marriages by family ,and the husband takes off to Canada ,and claim the wife disordered the marriage.
and these women will never ,never be seen ever again outdoors with embarrassment .
India is one goofed up country.

In the U.S. women watch Sex and the City and Desperate Housewives and get retarded ideas. Indian women are not subjected to that kind of television.

people just stick it out
they tend to be more tolerant of things then in the us
women tend to be less outspoken and men tend to be less macho i guess
in the us people tend to walk away from marriage over anything that may go wrong
