how can u remove the scratches from and ipod video screen without ruining it??? or is there no way?

What I do is use little wipes used for eye glasses, its gentle and makes the screen look unscratched and brand new. They can be bought at any eye clinic or somewhere where glasses/sunglasses are sold etc.
