Whoever has played at the highest level has missed a spot-kick....
There is a lot of pressure on the player when he/she does so and many lose their calmness to go and finally miss the penalty.
Also when the kick is a crucial one, you can feel your heart pounding and you sense the presence of scores of spectators. This is the moment when you should have ice in your veins to succeed a kick...
Zidane, Ronaldinho of the abovenamed players everyone has missed when they face such a situation
Ballack: I remember once when he played for Germany
Zidane: Way back when he was at Juve

ronaldinho is an expert in missing penalites, i was in paris for two weeks and he missed two, one against nantes the other bordeaux. and last one i remember him missing was against atletico madrid in barcelona. while zidane i remember he missed against valencia in 2005. cannavaro i seriuosly doubt he ever kicks penalties, he's not the type of player who takes penalties besides he's a defender, while ballack i wouldnt know, i dont watch bundesliga, and hasnt been 2 long with chelsea,

There is only 1 player that I know never missed a PK that's Yakubu Aiyegbeni for middlesborough.

they have all missed penalties because after all they are human only a robot wouldnt miss penalties and even then if it was against buffon it would probably miss aswell.

i don*t know how many penals ballack missed, but i know that he is so damn hot!!!!
