A nation which was unfairly forced to pay the military expense after World War I was reasonable to do some ''feedback'' for themselves. Nazi-Germany could be any nation, Hitler could be other person. The consequence of WWII was varied by so many factors. The holocaust which killed 11 millions jews were not Hitler's own thought, it was the thought of a large population of Nazi-Germany. This ''event'' was also determined by so many factors, not that Hitler could control. The animosity against jewish in Nazi-Germany was not a thing that Hitler could change. However, I believe that the discrimination against jewish at that time was part of their own responsbility, because of their behaviours in WWI. Why the majority in this society, or as least people in my school, rejected to respect the motiviation of Hitler as the way that we respect the human right?

out of morbid curiousity, have you ever read a ww2 Germany history book?
First off, hitler was very anti sematic. he hated jews. when he started to rise to power, he used a hurting nation, promising them glory and comfort, while labling jews the reason for Germanys current economic status. which, of course, is bull.
Now, moving along, you are correct in that it was not hitlers idea to kill the jews. it was himmlers. his inner circle then ran with the idea, creating more and more ideas for more effecient genocide.
there are positves to everyone. if you take out the genocide, and the torture, and the like, You actually are left with a pretty 'decent' guy. Hitler didn't smoke or drink, in fact, the only cigarette ever recorded of him smoking in his lifetime was the one that got him kicked out of his study for PRIESTHOOD. when his mother became terminally ill with breast cancer, he left his home in vienna and cared for her until her death, cleaning her home from top to bottom, and preparing only her favorite foods for dinner. He also was a very peaceful person. there are many pictures of him around animals, even of him hand feeding a deer! so if you take away all of the evil, he was a very nice sounding man.
but thankfully, the evil isn't taken away. we remember hitler for the public hitler. for the hitler responsible for the murder of millions.
And also please note that "nazi Germany" as not as large of a population as you would think. The nazis were actually a very small percentage of Germany. most either turned a blind eye and tried to pretend it didn't exist (Because if they pointed out that it was wrong, they would be tortured, sent to a work camp, killed, or all of the above.) or hoped that one day, it would calm down, and hitler would get over his phase of wanting to kill people.

In a sense, I agree with you.
For Hitler to take war-torn Germany and bring it to the state right before WWII, was truly amazing. He brought that state together, and that was quite a feat. Most people, when they see Hitler speak, think he was crazy since he is shouting. But, everyone back then shouted because there were no microphones! Just take a look at FDR, and you will see he is shouting. Although, the German language is quite intimidating...
However, I don't agree with his ideas.... I know that there was discrimination already present(it was everywhere then and today) but, the Holocaust was just too far. Not everyone hated Jews in Germany, and Hitler put ideas in the population's head. He practically told them to hate the Jews and in the end, over 10 million Jews and other races were murdered. All because of Hitler and his hatred.

The holocaust was the result of many factors, some reasonable, some not. Doesn't mean it was justified. Not only jews were killed... gays, black, disabled people, etc, etc, etc... Hitler led the Nazi Party... the Nazi Party gathered and killed those people. Hitler killed those people. Pretty simple. Yes, he could have done something to stop it and, while I don't think he personally would have done everything on his own accord, he accepted and embraced it.... so he's to blame.

You have read about his childhood, right? Reading about the "superior" Aryan race?

Honestly, I don't think Hitler was evil... I just think he was nuts. I think he truely believed what he was doing was for the good of the world... and THAT'S what's so scary.

PS: to the person above me... I find it really ironic that someone named "David" is trashing Jews.

6 million Jews were killed 5 million others were killed. Hitler's only enemy was not Jews it was him against the world. Anyone that did not fit into his Aryan race was to be reckoned with. He just started out around destroying the communities around him. He killed innocent people how was he not wrong? Killing people is wrong other countries do horrible things. But he is by far one of the most horrible people in history.

How can you decide someone's character by there race? Everyone is different knowone is exactly like there ancestors.

He was a vegetarian and would tell stories of animal cruelty to guest's to try to scare them. Ironic isn't it he couldnt bring himself to hurt animals but the human race? no problem.

Wrong? About what? Not only were jews killed en masse but Slavs, gypsies, blacks, homosexuals, children and anyone else who opposed him and the National Socialists. Yes there was great hatred and bias against others but that does not excuse taking advantage. This question does not really deserve an answer.

It is even sicker what we read from "David" down below. It was not only Jews but other ethnic groups. The holocaust struck many besides Jewish folk. I have visited a death camp, Dachau, outside Munich. All that died there have their names and nationality shown on a wall. If you look carefully you will see next to some names - U.S.A. It is not those on this question who condemned Hitler and the Nazis, it is the sickoes who continue to deny the truth.

their own responsibility??? No one or No race deserves death no matter what behavior you may think they displayed. Hitler was a murderer plain and simple. He murdered small children just b/c of their race. I can't believe I am wasting my time trying to explain this if you think he was right then you are as screwed up as he.

Why are you wrong?

What makes you say that the Jews were punished for their behaviours in WW I? What behaviours? Did you ever ask your grandfather what happened during the war? Where did you learn this nonsense. You are one sick, sick boy.

Have you not noticed how many pro-Jew people there are on Yahoo Answers?

It is a waste of time to talk openly about this topic without one sided condemnation for the Germans during the Nazi period. dont even waste your time argueing with them. It makes me sick actually. I wonder if this is a job for them or do they actually just come on here for entertainment.

To the person below me, "David" isnt my real name.

O.K.....this may be the most aggregious example of revisionist thinking on Hitlers historical positions ever put into a public forum.

You claim the following as a fact - The consequence of WWII was varied by so many factors. The holocaust which killed 11 millions jews were not Hitler's own thought, it was the thought of a large population of Nazi-Germany.

Here is some examples of why this in nonsense.....in Hitlers own words. Please not note that many of these quotes come from as early as 1924...Hitler was plotting the death of the jewish race way baefore he had any true power. He was the architiect of the Holocaust...there is no historical doubt of this fact. Your thinking that Hitler and other criminals of his type could find ANY justification whatsover for the slaughter of millions is beyond contempt. I suppose you think that herding children into the poison gas chambers was somehow justified...you are really an indiot.

"Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."

"My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison. To-day, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before the fact that it was for this that He had to shed His blood upon the Cross. As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice... And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly it is the distress that daily grows. For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people.

the personification of the devil as the symbol of all evil assumes the living shape of the Jew.

With satanic joy in his face, the black-haired Jewish youth lurks in wait for the unsuspecting girl whom he defiles with his blood, thus stealing her from her people.
