People sometimes say i'm white-washed becasue of the clothes i wear (Abercrombie, hollister, uggs, true religions, designer purses, jeans, etc.), and becasue i don't have too many black friends (even though i like black guys most of the time). Also, because i do my homework, and i talk properly, not slang. Also, i'm like allitle more than half black so i don't even look that black. soooo basically, should i consider it an insult when people say i'm white washed, and what does that exactly mean, and how do you respond when people say that about you?

No one can hurt your feelings unless you first give them the power to do it. If you first consider it an insult to act like a white person, then it would be an insult.
I have a question, should a white person consider it an insult to be told they are acting like a black person?
Personally, I would say, "I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you having some sort of problem?"

nicely Greta, i'm specific that some issues offend some human beings, and others they are not offended via it. each guy or woman is different. and that i visit confess that I too have had questions stated for violation, and deleted, and that expenditures you much greater factor, 10, and then i've got faith that that's 2 greater factors for deleting the question. i did no longer see the question, the 1st time once you declare to published it, I observed which you published it the day previous, and that i'm no longer offended, and that i took the time to respond to the question. And plus would I upload, this is the weekend, and that i don't be conscious of as some distance via fact the modators' hours (if any) on the weekends. or possibly the those that stated your answer have not observed which you re-published it, or figured which you will supply up asking it. i'm no longer on the moderators of Yahoo solutions, so i can not allow you to be conscious of precisely how they considered it "Insulting different contributors". yet i'm specific that some human beings might have had to checklist your question, or maybe defined why they believed that it could be deleted, and that they checked into it, and agreed with them. Plus once you ask a question, you don't be conscious of how human beings will re-act to it, nor do you be conscious of who stated it to Yahoo solutions, in much less they allow you to be conscious of, and Yahoo solutions would not allow you to be conscious of, and that i doubt they even might in case you asked them.

White washed means that you're overtly white.
I generally respond by saying something like "What difference does white and black make?"
I do find it rather insulting, and also racial discrimination-- not only against whites, but also against all races. It only makes a huger, more defined line between races when we make comments like that.

Some small minded people believe is stereotypes except when it prertains to them. Since you don't fit their typical stereo type that have recatogorized you with (white washed) Don't sweat it just be you.

to be called anything meaning your white , is the ultimate compliment. just be lucky you don't look black. it's bad enough that you have to live with being half-black anyway...............

It could just be that they wish they could have the same thing you have. I wouldn't let it get to yourself to much.
