I'm 4 and half months pregnant, and on monday i had a routine (for me, at least) cervical biopsy. everything seemed to be going fine. i had a little excess bleeding the next day, which worried me, so i called the doctor, and she told me that as long as it didn't continue for more than 2 days, not to worry. Everything seemed to be fine (the bleeding had stopped that night), but tonight as i was going to the bathroom, i noticed blood when i wiped...there wasn't much, but it was very red.
i'm not sure if this is normal, or if i should be concerned.

any opinions?

You are probably still spotting from your exam, so I wouldn't worry. If you have a miscarriage this far into your pregnancy, it can be slightly painful. Just to be on the safe side, call your doctor and tell her what you've just asked here. More than likely, you're just fine...

this will be very normal. its ok to be afraid but just have trust in the doctor and listen to what they have to say. they are the professionals. asking people for advice is like asking a satanist to go to sunday morning service....not a good idea. just stick to yuor doctor's advice and keep in contact with them. even if you look like a ntucase, you'll be a nutcase that cares.

call your doctor about it if it persists just to be sure. but when i had a miscarriage i had really bad cramping really really bad!! that lasted for a few days i had to get a shot in my butt to stop the pain. then i bled like a period but the thing was i knew it was a miscarriage because at my first ultrasound my doctor told me i would have one and i did.

I would be on the phone to your doctor right now! There is no way to be sure unless you talk to a medical doctor and get his/her opinion on this.
