ABSOLUTELY YOU COMMUNIST FREAK!!! No, just kidding. It's not evil. I think socialism is actually an ok idea, in theory; it just doesn't work out in real life due to human nature.

no not at all, you're probably a good and sensitive person who needs to be better educated on the subjects of economics and human nature.
I was once a socialist sympathizer too.
Upon learning more and more about why it can't work, i find i wish it could, but people just won't do much for the common good.
The world really is better off because of the "enlightened self interest" of the capitalist world, even though it's counter intuitive.

No, that in itself doesn't make you evil. Jim Jones was also a socialist sympathizer, but that wasn't his evil characteristic.
I have only one problem with socialists: all of their grand schemes include me, my freedom and my wallet. If you want to build Paradise, I wish you luck; however, if your idea of Paradise includes confiscating the fruits of my labor and burdening me with more laws, then I will fight you tooth and nail.
