The workload and material the education system piles onto students increases along with expectations over time. My parents used to worry about me when I was in high school, sleeping at 3 a.m. on the daily because of all my AP classes. I'm only 19 and I worry about what it's going to be like by the time I have children...

Not to high anymore. Our culture values "little adults" that go around acting as if they know how things work. Kids do learn things earlier and earlier now so sexual exposure is inevitable.
Virginity back in the 50's was lost around 18 maybe 20. Before that you only slept with someone when you were married or got raped. The fact that sex used to be so hush-hush is nothing anymore.
People are open with their sexuality now and virginity (along with self-respect) are out of style to us. So..... the percentage of college virgins is sadly decreasing, and will continue to decrease until people realize sex isn't all taht should matter.

honestly, I don't think many high schoolers remain virgins, college bound or not... so, I'd say 5-10% at most.

More than you think.
Most high school seniors are smart enough not to bow to peer pressure to have sex before they are ready. There is too much in their lives at stake.
