maintenance is the whole key. I don't care if its a BWM or a Kia. You don't take of the basics. You will have a piece of junk faster than you can say " My car needs WHAT!" When the repair bill comes due.

Added: To Mike: we've owned 4 Hondas, the only problem was a bad O2 sensor in our 1997 Accord that was recalled and fixed for free (they even threw in a tune up and oil change) We have a 1997 Civic 110K miles, 1997 Accord 120K miles, a 2007 Civic and had a 1999 Oddysey. See link below. ( I also have a 2002 Toyota Tundra - highly rated for reliability )

im not comletly shure. id say either mitsubishi or a honda mabey even a mazda. but from experience when hondas get old they get OLD. the transmition on my fathers is completly shot. good luck
