I am planning to knit a sweater for a neighbor's baby boy, and she has been overwhelmed with pale blue. What colors do you like for a baby boy?

yellow or green or both with white, they're all neutral and beautiful together or alone. Bright red or tans go with so many other colors and will match what they already have. Are they sports fans? Go with their favorite teams colors?! Good Luck! =)

Blue is obviously a good choice, it doesn't have to be pale blue. We dress our son in green a lot, too. Red can be done, too. Basically you want to stay away from the feminine colors. Some parents get really upset about that sort of thing.

Our son looked good in stuff with khaki, green, and red in it when he was an infant - he had a couple outfits with those colors.

I haven't even had my baby boy yet, and I'm SO over baby blue!! I really like the green and khaki idea. We are going to bring our son home in a red Tampa Bay Bucs outfit so I like red too! Dark blue is nice too. The pastels just get old fast.
Whatever color you choose, I'm sure your neighbor will love it for the baby! It's such a nice gesture!

My son has many blue and white clothing which look great on him. I have to say I absolutely love him in red onsies!! I don't know how you can pull that color off with a knitted sweater though. Maybe a grey or beige?!

Try dark blue, red, orange, any shade of green, yellow, brown, gray, or black. I like to dress my son in bright, primary colors, or deep shades. I try to stay away from pastels, because they really wash him out, and they stain much easier.

Hope that helps!

Green.

EVERY outfit for a boy is always blue. Blue, blue, blue! Now my MIL and I strive to find things to green. It's tougher, but not too tough.

Also try a vibrant red. Always appealing!

We do lots of camo, different shades of blues, greens, and yellows. Sometimes black or white. Tan is a good color also.

anything but pink, purple and yellow. Red is good because it's a colour that babies are attracted to
