unfrotunately, because your hands are always in water, you will find yourself needing to apply lotion all of the time. However, there is a product at Origins in the A Perfect World line, it's the "body cream". What's good about their products is that they don't use any mineral oil, they stay with all natural products. Because of that, you won't be getting just a 'surface lotion'. The A Perfect world cream hydrates deep within. You will notice, if you apply it and leave it on (not putting your hands in water), you will still feel hydrated hours later. I have extremely dry hands and that it was I use. Before, I was going through lotion so fast because it wore off after 20 minutes. This one is great one to hydrate.
Origins is also good, because if you have a store near you.. you can get free samples of anything., They put it in this little container (really small) that will fit in your purse and if you want to try it out before spending the money, it's a great way to do so. =)

Victorias Secret has great smelling lotions, but I don't think that they have good "creams" that moisturize. I think that you should buy a good cream that you can buy in bulk <- meaning not 50 bucks for a tiny bottle that you have to buy more every other week...
they key is to buy an Aveeno or a Jergens... whatever works for you and focus on bring up the moisture level of your hands.... moisturize before going to bed and waking up, so keep a bottle by your bed. Then carry a smaller version of the bottle by your desk so you can put it on your hands a couple times throughout the day.

First of all, try to moisturize as often as possible. For instance, a good lanolin type or olive oil before you go to bed and wear light cotton gloves to protect your bedding and face. There is a type of hand lotion that protects your skin from contact with water and elements.
Bigelow's No. 007 original formulary hand lotion is a one-of-a-kind skin softening preparation that imparts a smooth, glove-like barrier to dry hands. Dr. Hiosous, a neighborhood physician, commissioned Bigelow to create this special formula with moisture-retaining Quince Fruit Extract and antioxidant-packed Carrot Oil.
Avon's Silicone Glove Hand Cream protects the skin on your hands really well.

Mary Kay Satin Hands. It's WONDERFUL! Plus it's a whole kit to exfoliate and moisturize your hands. You'll be amazed at the results. Plus you can use it on your feet, elbows and legs after shaving. You'll never use anything else! It's all I use.
