see if there's a small restaurant or something you can work as a seater or a waitress at, no McDonalds. Working as a waitress would be best, but being a seater or a greater would be fine too. Try to talk to the people as much as possible, because it helps you develop professional people skills. The only problem is fancier restaurants probably won't hire you, but a smaller, community restaurant might, so give it a shot.

A receptionist for a church or non-profit organization. You will meet a wide variety of people this way; people who care about youth and can mentor you to other opportunities as your skills evolve.

A restaurant is a good way to get customer skills and learn to multitask. You can make good tips, and sometimes free food.

your local grocery store like Market Basket or Shaw's or Stop and Shop they're always looking to hire teenagers.that was my first job.also waitress job.
