It's never a bad idea to take a bath! There used to be a wives tale that said you shouldn't swim or bath within so many days of your period. It is not true! Go ahead and wash and bath all you want! You'll feel better and smell better too! =)

I don't know what a "hair bath" is but don't believe all this folklore about women not allowing to have a bath while they are "menstruating".You need to keep clean and not taking care of yourself could result into impetigo or other bacteria which to me is pretty disgusting.
Shower or bath all you want!!
