They should be treated like their victims - beaten, raped, made to drink chemicals and then wrapped up and set out to freeze in below-zero weather while still alive.

I don't believe in the concept of special penalties being imposed because of hate. Most crimes are hate crime, but the charges seem to go only one way.

It's only a hate crime if commited by a white person against a minority.
These crimes are not going to be covered by the main stream media....white victims and black perps are not news worthy.
Reverse the races and you couldn't turn on the TV or read a newspaper without new details of the crime.

I comprehend your element yet hate crimes are complicated to coach. it won't be in a position to easily be because of the fact the sufferer and wrongdoer have been of diverse races, genders, sexual orientations, and so on. There must be evidence that the crime replaced into stimulated via hate because of the fact of one of those factors. otherwise many crimes could desire to conceivably be construed as hate crimes whether the guy's race, gender, and so on. replaced into no longer a motivating element. If the NAACP has got here out and mentioned it replaced into no longer a hate crime then that's wildly irrelevant because of the fact it hasn't long previous to trial and each and all the evidence hasn't been presented. i replaced into appalled analyzing the atrociously undesirable information of this crime. even nonetheless i'm no longer a huge proponent of capital punishment if those "human beings" are found to blame of those significant crimes I see no different ideal punishment.

Dude... its not exactly a hate crime per se, like the one committed in Long Beach.
But nevertheless, I dare say the KKK will be coming back to Knoxville in my dire assessment. I know its sad, but for once, I would look the other way if they decided to take matters into their own hands... Those guys seriously deserve to get tortured, neutered, killed and have their bodies dragged through the town. Hey man, I'm a minority too (dark South Indian) but that sh*t is going way over the line. Lines need to be drawn.

I also agree that society has become too liberal.

Really sir, what do you expect in liberal America where Political Correctness over rules common sense on a daily basis.

Frankly I never could see labeling crimes as hate and non-hate. If I murder someone it is not because I love them...

We keep passing more and more laws against the same crime. Did you read the side bar, one person is being held on 12 counts of murder, WTF there were two victims. The thing that scares me is I fear this country is just about ready revert to vigilante justice. If that happens a lot of innocent people will be decorating trees in a very short time. And guess what, the in-justice system is to blame.

It DEFINITELY is a hate crime, no matter what you liberals on here say. And the perpetrators should be strung up after their balls have been sliced off and shoved down their rotten throats. The same throats that my taxpayers dollars have been feeding all of their filthy lives!
ENOUGH is ENOUGH, America! Wake up!
These are nothing but BEASTS! Treat them as such.

I read the article and I dont necessarily believe it should be considered a hate crime. Because a hate crime is:
A crime motivated by prejudice against a social group.

Nowhere does it say the crime was racially motivated. It just happens to be that the victims and the committers happen to be of different races.
Lets not play the "Hate Crime Card" here.

Nobody, but nobody should consider the
savage beasts that committed this grisly
crime to be human beings.

As far as it being a hate crime,
if this were white on black, it
most certainly would be considered
a hate crime by our PC liberal society.

When I read this story, I actually
became physically nauseated
and enraged.

These beasts deserve nothing less
than death.

hmm.... wrong is wrong no matter what. Any hate crime that results in death should be punishable by death. Any that is a beating should be punishable by a beating and so forth. I have no tolerance for racists of any race. And instead of fueling anger more by retaliating we should just punish the guilty and leave it at that. We don't need a race riot. umm... and whites raped native american and black women? What was their punishment?
