The little girl who is following Meridith looks like she could be "Izzie's daughter" on Grey's Annatomy. I know in the second season there is an episode where she shows the pregnant teenager who grew up in Izzie's old town a picture of her daughter. If anyone could find out if that girl is the same one in the new episode it would make my day!

Izzie's daughter would be thirteen. That girl is no where near thirteen. And no, it is not the same girl in that photo, but I like the way you saw that as a possibility. It would be great if that were true, except Izzie already spent her fortune on the clinic. It would have been better if she had saved some for her daughter. If you rewatch the original episode you find out that Izzie was 16 when she had the baby and 28 when she made the comment and that was a year ago. Izzie is 29 and Sarah, her daughter is 13.

Izzie's daughter was 8 in the last picture that Izzie was sent of her , and this was i think she said, 4 years ago... this little girl is no more than 6.

Oh my land - I don't have the pic but you could be onto something!
Lets say, the little girls Mom ends up not being found and a fatality due to the accident.
Then, it is known she is adopted.
Hmmmmm - who knows! Would be an interesting story line.
Wish I had a screencap of the pic for you as I to am intrigued now!
