Absolute value of l 3x+12>15 l ?

Wouldn't it be No solution?

3x+12>15
-12 -12
3x > 3
3/3 3/3
x > 1


15-12=3/3= 1
x=1

I agree with the first two, but I'll start you off:

Solve 3x+12 > 15 OR 3x+12 < -15

It has to be "or", because clearly it can't be both > 15 and < -15
