Not at all. I have absolutely no problem with being naked, being seen naked by others or being in the company of other people while I'm naked, whether those other people are naked or fully dressed. I spend lots of time every summer at the nude beach and enjoy it immensely. Nudity in appropriate places, such as at a beach or pool, in a sauna or simply lying in the sun on a warm day is a wonderful pleasure that everyone should experience. It's always a very sensual and enjoyable experience, but is is NOT sexual. There's a big difference, and people need to be aware of it and accept it. Simple nudity is not lewd, or shameful, or sinful, or immodest...or any of the other negative terms that some in our society have attached to it.
And no, I'm not an exhibitionist, sinner, deranged individual or sexual pervert. I'm simply an intelligent young woman who is comfortable being naked in appropriate places and situations, either alone or with others.
Great question...thanks for asking it.
Bare hugs to everyone...

I have no idea why it is such a big deal, i mean guys have the same parts of other guys and girls have the same parts as girls. I dont understand why there is such a problem with being naked when its just the body of every human.
i think people try to hard to be "proper" and in being "proper" you cannot show yourself naked.

Yes, of course I do since, presumably, it is a matter of privacy for decent people and it is my absolute embarrassment being naked in front of strangers or even friends. In short, being naked is solely the private affairs between those like-minded people.

-I,personally, don't have a problem with being naked; however, the social norm says DON'T DO IT!
We all have essentially the same bodies...media and sensationalism has made our bodies sexy and taboo!
When you grow up on a farm, values are extremely different and sex isn't just sex on a farm...it is pro-creation. I was brought up knowing that the animals had sex to procreate. As I have reached my age of my maturity level...I find many things that don't bother me know that used to bother me. Going to a doctor isn't as embarrassing now...I spend many hours 'naked' in my apartment and it is just soooooo relaxing to swim in the nude, too.

I think people are only incomfortable with nudity because they have been socialized to think that nudity is something "bad". Otherwise- nudity is the most natural thing. We come into the world naked, coitus for pro-creation must be done with naked flesh (or at least naked genitals), and we must be naked to bathe and clean ourselves.

No. The reason why is because of those negative ads that promote the new acne medicine or the new shoes to go with that dress. Constantly being put down eventually deconstructs a person's self esteem.

as americans, we are taught that exposing too much skin is shameful. that you shouldn't see males genitles, or females either.
(however womens are more reasonable than men. a good example, i've seen hundreds of movies that depict female frontal nudity (breasts) , or even full frontal nudity, and yet, i can only name two movies in which i have seen a naked male tushie, and naked male genatles (Euro trip, and roadhouse.)
For me, it depends on who i am naked around/who is naked around me. i would freak out if i saw my brother naked, but just respectfully avert my eyes if it was a friend.

Well, methinks that the most common problem is how the other person looks at you. And most of the time it's sexually and not naturally. (Now you might say well isn't that natural? No. Natural is looking at them as with clothes on.) And as far as taught it's wrong, bull-hockey. It was taboo, meaning that it was done behind doors and not in the open.

This has been a taboo for a while.
Me, I'm ok being naked... especially around certain people.

Not at all; we've been into nude social recreation for many years. It's all a matter of "body acceptance."
It really doesn't matter your shape or size; if you're comfortable with yourself, there's not a problem.
