Hi there! Another product you might want to try is "Dear John" by BeneFit. I love this product. I, too, have dry skin on my face--especially around my nose and chin--and found this moisturizer to really help eliminate the dry patches or skin flakes.
The other great thing about this product is that it is unscented.
Good luck!

i have very dry skin on my face and body, and this is my personal method: while i'm in the shower at night, i wet a wash cloth, put a nice grainy scrub (i usually use st.ives apricot scrub) on it and gently scrub my forehead, nose, cheeks and chin (i get very dry and flaky there), then finish my shower. after i get out, i immediately pat my face off and put aloe vera gel on my face. i just use cvs brand aloe vera gel. it feels a little bit weird, but i guess it seals the moisture from the shower in or something. it takes a couple of minutes to dry. then in the morning i wash my face with a soap-free cleanser (i use cetaphil cleanser) and put on cetaphil face lotion (the kind in the pump with spf). i'd much rather make it easy on myself and just use a thick lotion made for dry skin, but because my skin is also very sensitive and acne prone, i can't do that. i've heard a little bit of olive oil as a moisturizer at night works wonders, but i'm too scared of a face-full of acne to try it myself.
also, if you have dry, scaly patches that hang around for a while, put a little bit of hydrocortisone cream on it and rub it in. they'll be gone (or diminished, if they're really bad) by the morning.
hope all that helps!

I have discovered Origins products are best for that area and are made with all natural ingredients. Make sure to exfoliate. They have a product called Modern Friction that will help even out your ph-balance. Also a mask called clear improvement.. the mask has active charcoal and china clay in it, just twice a week on both and I guarantee that you will notice your skin will even out to normalcy.. =)

I suggest trying Clinique's 3 step facial care line. It's not expensive, they have two kinds (one for normal skin and one for dry), and it works absolutely great! First you wash your face off with their special soap, exfoliate with their toner, and moisturize with their lotion. It's worked wonders for me and many people that I know. :)
