Use the backup method. It is much safer to give your body time to adjust to the medicine. Also make sure if you ever start taking an antibiotic that you use a backup method of contraception b/c it will affect how well your birthcontrol works. Just a reminder about the last part!

I would use back up method as it takes about 3 months for your body to adjust. I waited about 6 weeks and was fine. Better to be safe than sorry:)

Birth control pills take at least one whole month to regulate the body, and some women it takes longer. Go with what your doctor told you, as that is the safest route.

Your body needs time to adjust to the pill. Go by what your doctor said to be safe.

I think that if you do not want to be pregnant, you should follow the package insert. Your doctor did not do all the research and testing on this product, did he?
Use backup.
