i have a question.
when you type in the code for your itunes gift card, do you have to make an account for itunes and type in all your information?

Yes you do, but it doesn't cost anything and thats how you save your downloaded songs.

If I remember right, we had to set up an account with a password for my daughter. Then each time she gets an itunes card, it adds to that one account so she can use the same password over and over.

We also put a credit card number in there (a credit card may have been required?) so she can buy songs when her itunes card runs out. (She pays us the cash for each one she buys when it runs out at 99 cents each)

yea b/c they have to have and account to put ur money in. and u don't need a credit card unless ur not going to use the itunes cards then ur purchases will just be charged on a credit card. but to make an account u don't need one

I can't recall, but I don't believe you do. In fact, I think you need a credit card to even make an account, so I'm pretty sure you don't need to make one.
