Are you talking about RAM memory or hard drive space? You need to invest in more RAM or a larger hard drive. I guess that you can take off some files, delete some of your old e-mails, photos, videos, and music, to make some room on your hard drive.
RAM is very important. The more RAM that you have on your Mac, the better and faster that it works and the Mac OS X needs a certain amount of RAM just to work. Best of luck.

the best way to free up your mac laptop memory is to delete programs that you dont need most... delete files that are not very important...
