By nature human beings are wanting to know how those others that "make it good" live and what they do. They spend their time and energy following fools with money who set the standard of how they should live their lives. This is called the blind following the blind. Most of these so-called "celebrities" can not even live a normal life, drugs and alcohol rule their lives. We should turn to God and try to find out what His activities are.

I think that life has become too fast. People don't have time anymore, to have real lives, so they delight in the lives of others. I also believe that people are way too money hungry, and feed off the lives of celebrities who have no idea how much money they spend on anything.

Because celebrities, in the averages Joe’s eyes, are living the good life. They love their job (if they even have one), have lots of money, hook up with hot partners, and can afford to have hot bodies. Meanwhile, Joe is busting his or her *** just to keep the bills paid. People idolize them, and at times love to see them fall from the spotlight. Proves to them that they are human after all.

We have been taught that more, bigger, shinier, newer, faster, etc is better.

So, we want all the above. Celebrities 'seem' to have all the above so our envy kicks in. Most of the time we can't distinguish between a person and a character.

We're blinded by the glitz.

It is definitely out of hand!! People have no lives of their own and therefore love to devote all their time to celebs. Its pretty annoying and sad.
