It depends on what your looking for. I have been to jupiter, and it is a very nice facility. If you want to meet players and see how the training works, this is a much better time to go. There will be less lines and red tape, plus i know Albert Pujols is down there early. However if you want to see games you will be dissapointed. So go if you want autographs and memories with players, but not if you want to watch games.

For a team like the Cardinals, any time during Spring Training is a good time to be there, because of the history the team has. Also, its good to see exactly how much prep the pitchers and catchers do during this time so they can be on the same page during the season. Nothing could hurt a team more then when the relationships between pitchers and catchers aren't good.

yes, this way you can see all the work that goes into being a pitcher in the major leagues. everyone says pitchers have it easy, but in spring training all they do is work their butts off. fielding their position, bunt coverages, and getting to know new catchers. not to mention getting their arms back into shape, outside!
