I am an English major. I want to know the type of jobs my fellow English majors have held since graduation.

I graduated with a B.A. in English. I took this major for my own education and not necessarily for the job opportunities it would open up for me.
I had a poor English background in high school. I had not been exposed to significant American or English works of literature, and I felt that taking the English major in college would expose me to all of this. (It really did!)
I also developed my love of Shakespeare having taken extra classes in Shakespeare as the opportunities came up.
My current job? I am a psychologist working with adolescents, and I love reading in my spare time.

My daughter just completed her MA in English (with a BA in English) and she is an elementary school principal and teacher.
