What format would you have to convert songs to in order to send through bluetooth?

I have a razr phone, and an apple laptop...and first i was wondering if it was possibe that i could send media through bluetooth to my razr phone...and if so, what format would it have to be in?

It has nothing to do with file format... your bluetooth devices have to have the "A2DP" bluetooth profile... I'm not 100% up to speed on this subjuct, but most bluetooth devices don't support the "A2DP /high quality qudio" feature..

MP3, mp4, midi, wav everything works as far as i know
