I do. A lot. I make about $2000 per week, and have a man who thinks it's his place to support his family. No, we're not married and I don't want to do all that legal stuff anymore, but he still thinks it's his place. I do give half of what I get from my check every week to him. The other $1000, I spend on gifts, or things the children need like clothing, or just fun. My favorite store is Burlington Coat Factory. They have the cutest children's clothing and are good prices. I also like going to either Southridge Mall or Grand Avenue Mall. What about you? What are you favorite stores? I also like to go shopping to fill my China Cabinets. I have one in my dining room in the corner that I inherited that has fake decorative flowers and greenery on it. I have two in the kitchen corners. Then I have on in the rec room. The one in the dining room is full of china from my grandparents and my ex husband. My favorite is this one made by "Queen's" with a black and gold pattern.

I wanted to make it clear that I don't shop for the stupid things. I have friends that are in need and one just left her abusive husband too. So, I go shopping (a lot of fun of course) and I'll pick up a bed set here, a dinner set there, knife set there. Basic stuff. I enjoy giving it to them and I enjoy knowing that, because I am for the most part religious, God is looking at that favorably.

Didn't your mother teach you it's rude to be boastful.

I work hard for the money I make, I don't waste it on unnecessary crap. I want to be able to eat when I retire. You will regret not saving your money when you are old and I'm at the mall while you're in line for food stamps.

I like to shop too.

It makes me feel good to buy things.
Sometimes I have to return them because I can't afford to keep
them, but I still like to buy things.
