Yeah I thought it was starnge and really a butter knife is not all that dangerous but, a kid shouldn't ahve those kind of thing in their bed when they are asleep, who knows what could happen. A freak butter knife accident. Of course I took it from her....lol

yes! i remember this one. i've also heard a spoon under my pillow and dance outside in my pajamas. i heard those back in elementary school. even in highschool, we joke about it. but yes, kids do believe it works...especially when the next day is a snow day! its fine, in about 6 years they'll grow out of it. heck, once your kid noticesd they didnt get closed or delayed, they'll snap out of it.

I am not the utmost authority on "wives tales" cause when i was young I thought they were 'balderdash' until I broke one about 29 yrs ago and started studying them and what is Bad Luck after wrecking my car cause i forgot something and came back in without sitting down. Cause if I had The red lite would have caught me and I wouldn't have been broadsided

No, I can't say that I have heard of that one but I do know a good one that really works. Trust me, I have tried it.... Put a towel over your pillow at night and you won't get sick. Sounds weird but give it a try....The miracles of wives tales......

No I haven't heard of that one. I don't think it would work here as it is an Australian Summer, but I guess I could give it a try.
