How do they view the American culture as a whole?

I'm not Japanese, I am African American if they despise me they hide it well. I would say most Japanese people that I know judge people on the individual bases not collectively. However, I don't know that many.

I can't tell you how all Japanese people feel, only that I know one very nice Japanese woman who is married to an American man and loves people of all races.

Every Japanese person I've met was very interested in American culture and was very eager to learn about EVERYTHING.

Obviously you have never been to Japan.
The Japanese are intrigued by America.
They have incorporated mny aspects of American culture into their daily lives because they are so fascinated with it.
