ok, for me, i have been doing this one math problem for about 5 hours straight and i am losing my mind. so i resorted to this website and now i actually know how to do the problem thanks to somebody who was generous enough to help me. sometimes kids just need that extra hint on how to do the homework problem. i think it takes some real focus and hardwork to do the same problem over and over again for 5+ hours. not to mention how frustrating it can get. and i hate it how older people always say crap like 'kids today are so lazy' and some bullshit. its a new age with new technology and new types of information to learn.

Well, speaking for myself, I usually waited until 11 p.m. the night before it was due, and then interlaced some text from the gazetteer and the encyclopedia we had hanging around the house.

Am I tired of doing others' homework? Nah. Given the breakdown of the extended family we've experienced over the past two or three decades, I'm glad, actually, that there's something like this.

Three reasons. First, it gives me an opportunity to share some of my slack time with others. Second, in the best cases, what I'm doing is actually tutoring in how to do the "meta-homework": where to go for sources, what to think about, and how and when to trust your intuition. Third, I usually end up learning something myself.

I should also note, however, that I screw up so much in my real life that it's occasionally nice to feel like I can still do something right. (Everybody say "awwwwww....")

i didn't seem to have that much homework. Mainly a few book reports and like 10 math problems a week.

When I got to college, I was shocked out of my mind and learned what real homework was.

Maybe it's because I went to a decrepit school with drugged out hippy teachers.

They had parents who would help them, and teachers who didn't have the paperwork and overcrowding that they face today. If you are that tired of doing it, then go watch TV or something.
