I got married at 18 and have been married twenty years. Also my husband and I just bought our first house. My husband is also my best friend, so no I do not think marriage is a waste of time for me but for others it is a waste of time.

sorry your parents set a bad example for you( Im assuming this is a learned thought from people around you )

My parents have been married 38yrs, me and my hubby going on 15 yrs. If you think this way please dont ever consider marriage.

Marriage is NOT perfect, it takes work everyday. Yes its annoying and trying at times, BUT I love the fact every morning I wake up to my husband, he gets the kids out of bed and we pile in and snuggle.
I would be lost without my husband

OMG!!! That is SO hilarious!!

It would also be quicker and more painless to just run to a clinic and have them inject you with 6 different STD's. That alone would be worth just skipping the torture explaining to the doc why you're there and having to wait for test results.

I love my kids. Take good care of them for me.... everyone!!!!

Kidding, I'm fine.

I am sad to hear you say that. Marriage is a beautiful thing. It's sad because we don't honor marriage like it should be honored. No I don't think marriage is a waste of time.

hmmm, dark, funny, I like your cynicism. The marriage may not be the waste of time, but the guy could be!

WOW, what tremendous insight.

I should remember that when I find a person I want to marry, cause, you know, we're so incompatible and don't love each other (truely)

I've never been married so I still put it on a golden pedestal but you probably have a point.
