......Jayne Mansfield. Both were beautiful women who were deified and vilified for their looks. Both died in their 30's and tragically left young children behind. Both were more known for their media presence than their talent. AND despite their tarnished images, both were reportedly very nice, down-to-earth people who had no control over the way the media portrayed them. Just an observation.

That is very true! You were smart to think of that. It is a very sad situation. Anna Nicole had such a difficult life and had so many tragedies even though she was a gorgeous and full-of life woman. I wish her poor daughter only the best. I can't imagine she will have an easy life with this tragic start of the loss of her half-brother a few months ago and now her mother's death and whe will never remember either of them because she's much too young to. How sad...:(

I absolutely loved Anna Nicole Smith. She gave poor people a reason to keep moving on. No matter what we can all be happy - money or no money... She had her ups and downs, she used, she was clean... Anna Nicole was only who she wasn't bc of the media and because of other mean people. I believe that there is no justification in her death and whoever had a part in it, they will be sent to jail.

I agree! I was reading the Yahoo news earlier and one of the stories was comparing her to Marilyn Monroe as well. They even used Candle In The Wind as the title, which Elton John wrote about Marilyn.

It hadn't occured to me before you said it, but I think you are right. What a tragic life this woman had. Now her MOTHER is going to be on 20 20 tomorrow night, making money on her daughters passing. Sick woman. When I unexpectely lost my 34 year old daughter, I wasn't coherent for months. Now Nichole's mother is being interviewed the day after her daughters passing. What a cold and greedy woman she must be. Poor Nichole.

no control over how the media portrayed them. what's to slander. Anna pulled her top down and showed off her stuff at an awards show. At any rate I don't like to belittle the dead so I won't it is sad that she died so young

Whats even scarier is that she idolized Marilyn Monroe......the both od, and I guess I just read although can't confirm they both died in the rest room....from pills.
less than 2 years apart and both known as sexual provative women.

Marilyn Monroe also died in her 30s and was a major sex pot. They have things in common as well. I send Anna's family well wishes and loyal condolences.

very similar except Jayne had severe head trauma due to a car accident I think her death is more like Marilyn Monroe

yeah, you're right. i am shocked that anna nicole is gone and all i can think about is her little girl, danielynn. i hope whoever her father really is will take good care of her. it's not fair for any child to grow up without a mother.
