i thought of this name on my own and was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of it? to pronounce it goes like this... car-e-on-a! i had a suggestion with a K but my boyfriends name starts with a c so i thought it'd be kinda cute!

Yes. I lived in South America few years ago and I met a Cariana Josefina (even the pronunciation you are using is Spanish).
