Is she 2 separate persons trapping each other in reflections? Or just a split personality that are able to communicate to another? I just don't her characters place yet??? Comments

I'll give you a thought.
Nikki had a sister Jessica who died of an abusive father. Now, a person with a super power is not likely to die at the hand of his/her average father.
Assuming, Jessica died then what did daddy do for his amusement? My thought is turn his attentions to Nikki.
Big problem, Nikki has a recessive gene that will develop over time and make her super strong.
So Daddy beats her and Nikki develops a schitzoprenic personality, Jessica who takes the beatings for her so that she no longer feels the beatings. This makes sense because all of the heroes are predisposed to go insane as their powers increase.
Nikki and Jessica are a cross between Alice and Wonderland and Jeckyl and Hyde. She looks through the looking glass and opens another dimension to hide within. Normally, she is hiding Mr Hyde but right now she is hiding Dr. Jeckyl. It is a form of astral projection, another power she obviously has, aside from super strength.
There are some times when being able to hide your powers would be benificial. Imagine Sylar or Bennett grab Nikki, they cannot get Jessica's strength. In a strange sense they protect each other. Nikki is less likely to be injured. Jessica is less likely to be absorbed.

She has 2 personalities. Nikki didn't know that she has Jessica inside of her...but more the story progress, Nikki noticed there's someone else within her. We are not sure who is Jessica and how she ended up being in Nikki's body..yet. Jessica seems to have super strength while Nikki doesn't. I hope this helps!

Jessica was Nikki's sister I believe. Jessica's soul posesses Nikki's body and they can talk when the body sees its reflection. Jessica has super strength, while Nikki doesnt. Also, Jessica has a tattoo thing on her neck.

she is a little confusing, but when she is jessica, she is supernaturally strong and aggressive. My theory is that Jessica ( her sister) had powers -maybe possession? and when whatever happened to her happened, she took over her sister, whose powers were maybe still dormant - nikki couldn't handle it, either her powers or her sister, so she purposely blacked out knowledge of her other existence until recently. So she's not really a spilt personality, but 2 people living in one body. (not bad eh? just thought that up now)

It's a plot point, they want to keep us guessing about her nature for a while yet.
My theory, is that Nikki was born with super strength, and Jessica was born with mental powers. And at some point before she died the disturbed Jessica imprinted herself onto Nikki.

I read on TV Guides website (great source of information about all your favorite shows) that there are going to be some of the Heroes weve been introduced to arent actually "heroes". I think Niki falls into that category. Shes a split personality from witnessing her sisters death.

I believe her powers (when controlled and used more productively) are such that she is ultimately the perfect con artist - able to suck who she goes after into her very real affectionate, and almost innocent self, and then be able to go 180 and take the same person down (easily knock out or kill) with her super strength.

I think it is one sweet person and another with brute strength. I believe that they brought the jessica person out as her ister that died years ago. Kind of a freaky body takeo ver kind of thing. But she has incrediable strength that can break anything. Also you iwll know it is jessica by the tattoo on her back!

i think that her real power is that she has super strength. but she is also crazy. haven't you noticed that anytime Jessica is out she is really strong.
