I just started watching more of The Comedy channel on cable and I love Mencia!! He is great, if you ask me. He breaks down the barriers between races and makes us laugh at stereotypes.
I relax and laugh with him because he is talented and is doing more than just making money. He always makes the most fun of his own race and that takes a sense of humor. He also lets the white people get it in the face too so don't ever think he misses us. We are in there too and our stereotype is quite offensive but I DO HAVE TO LAUGH at it because it IS stupid to stereotype people!! Peace!! @8-)

i believe it is meant as jest.
Many comedians have jibes about race even their own .
I am not a racist but I can see humour in some of it.
I think it is okay if it is not maliciously used
I am an Aussie of British birth and there are many good jokes about both races.
Maybe you should lighten up a little.
Never be afraid to laugh at yourself.

I think that racial terms apply more than ever, we we dont want that in our life. I don't think it is ok. I don't think it is ok to say cracker, foggot, homo, ***, spik or any of the preceding. Those terms apply to me too. I don't think it is alright to make jokes about that. It hurts someone out there. I am sorry to even type those words, but to embrace what is really happening we have to say what it is. While I fall in those categories, it is not ok to call me them. At the same time is it ok that if we are one of those words that we embrace it and use it as a term of almost endearment to call one of our friends by one of those names? Then again, when i type the true spelling of one of those words, why is only, f, n and s starred out? So Cracker and homo are ok, but the rest arent? What is wrong with our world?

As a comedian, you can hold nothing sacred. I feel they make us not only laugh at society, but make us look at the reality of it. Right or wrong.

i think it funny as hell...but i think its unfair that white comedians can't make fun of anyother race w/o it being racist. Not to keen on the double standard

They need material to make jokes yes they should use not so many raciest comments but they aren't being pacific so as long as it doesn't get too out of hand it's alright in my case.

depends how they use the terms....
I love comedy, but I've got to say that the swearing and intimate sexual details have totally gotten out of hand....
People get it straight - it ain't funny no mo
