TO ALL BEARS FANS: Do you not realize that Rex Grossman just led us to the Superbowl? We had the same defense and offensive players last year with Kyle Orton as our QB and we lost the first game in the playoffs. This was Rex's first year, don't be a sore loser because we lost the Superbowl. I have been a Bears Fan all my life and changing QBs every year has never helped us. I have faith in Rex and I think every other Bears Fan should too if you really are a Bears fan.

Jeff Garcia will not be the Bears QB next year....

Jeff Garcia or Rex Grossman? For starters, let's ignore personal emotion when answering this question, and instead actually compare the two quarterbacks via statistics first. Garcia: He's older and has less of a future in the league. Which, when it comes to the future of a team, this will be taken into high consideration (depending on what role a team is looking for). Garcia will fair better in the air than Grossman, however he has been known to fumble often during scrambles in the back field and is also hesitant to take a hit. He never really appears to be 'involved' in the game, and usually takes a passive role. Grossman: Not the best in the air. In fact, he's thrown way too many interceptions in his life. However, Grossman is excellent on the ground, and can truly command an offense. If his passing game improves, he'll have a good career, until then he'll have to settle as a mediocre QB. If the team is looking for a short-term second string with a West Coast Offense, nothing more and nothing less, then Garcia ought to be your choice. Any other type of strategy, and any other type of offense, then Grossman should be your choice. Simple as that! Cheers.

I dont know. Garcia did good with the Eagles, but remember he is aging. I think that Garcia is a little overrated. I mean he was good with the 49ers. But nobody ever talks about when he sucked with the Browns and the Lions. Then he does pretty good with the Eagles. I think the Bears would make a big mistake in signing him cause he probably will suck. If the Bears are smart they will either keep Grossman, or try to trade him for the Lions or Raiders 1st round draft picks. Then they can either draft Brady Quinn or JaMarcus Russell.

Da Bears need some help at QB. I just don't understand why they didn't put Brian Griesse in to play in the Superbowl. Not sure how I feel about Jeff Garcia. I really think they need to draft a GOOD quarterback.

Garcia is a good QB but you have to consider that the Bears have Griese as well and will probably be competing with Grossman should he stay with the Bears.

I also look for the Eagles to possibly try to hold on to Garcia given NcNabb's recent injury woes.

i think thats a good idea. the bears defidently need a qb. if they had a decent quarter back, they would have gone 16-0 this year, and won the super bowl. but thats good because garcia is a backup for the eagles, so they wouldnt mind trading him, although mcnabb has been getting hurt a lot and garcia did pretty good at the end of the season. that would depend on whether or not the eagles wanted to keep him or not.

That would suck. This is pretty much Rex Grossman's rookie season and he got them to the super bowl. People only look at Rex's negative things. Sure he had some bad games, but so did every other quarterback. There are 32 quarterbacks in the league and two get to go to the superbowl and rex was one of them

Too old and it would only be a temporary fix if you can call it that, but I do think the Bears need to do something about Rex Grossman. The team has all the tools to succeed, they just need a leader. Someone like Matt Schaub from Atlanta would be a good fit I think.

Rex will start the first few games. Then they will go with Greise. Garcia wants to be a back up for the rest of his career and he will stay with the dolphins
