Yes. When I was a kid, early 60's, we were led to believe the future was clean, bright and full of scientific wonders. Here it is 2007 and I still don't have a jet-pack!

Truer words have never been spoken. You are so full of hope when your young and then as time goes by you realize the future is a lot of work and takes a lot of time.

I think the future is the same, I just think we have larger handbaskets to ride in to get here. Nothing scarier than going down hill in an handbasket. There are no Brakes, you just got to bail when you can.
