My stomach didn't start to get firm until the middle of my second trimester.

my tummy isnt hard...im 21 weeks & 3 days...its only hard when the baby is pushing down near my pelvic area...then it feels a little hard where its sitting but not my whole tummy...its pretty much squishy lol

Yes exactly, after the first about 4 months once you get into your 5th month and your belly starts sticking out it should be pretty hard.

yes and no, it depends on what your body type is.in the beginning it may be hard due to bloat and later it may be hard due to how the baby is positioned or braxton hicks, but it is not always rock hard.

mine firmed up right away. what to expect while your expecitng says it can do that from the constipation from pregnancy also.
