If you are asking about your own situation my advice is to work on convincing yourself that what others think about your goals are totally unimportant. It's your life, not anyone else can live it for you.
Earning the Bachelors degree was only a brief step in your becoming a mature and more disciplined adult. It was not necessarily a ticket on the train to satisfaction and happiness.
Beauty school may also be just a step further down the road to whatever, in the end, will be the course for the rest of your life.
Go for it! Enjoy the trip, and keep your mind open for new adventures every day.
Good luck!

Women who follow their dreams are not thought of as dumb or shallow!
If a woman holds a Bachelors degree but wants to go to beauty school, she opens even more opportunities up for herself! Not only can she do what she wants (I don't know what results from beauty school... a license?), she also may have a better chance of management, etc.
College degrees are great, but you have to be happy with what you are doing.

I don't think so at all. It's odd that this question would pop up - I was thinking the same thing. I have a Bachelor's degree and was also thinking it might be fun to go to beauty school or learn to be a make-up artist. You're not alone. :)

Nah, not necessarily.
I know of many people, men and women, who make big bucks making people pretty.
Even if it didn't (or doesn't) pay well, I've heard of a lawyer that gave up his well-established firm to become a truck driver.
I'm not much of a "go for your dreams" person, but it does suck if you hate your job.
It may seem weird to me that someone with a higher education would go to trade school, but enjoying your work is extremely important, considering you'll do it till retirement.
I hope I helped.

Absolutely not!!! Most who attend beauty school are artistic and are not satisfied with what they went to school for and what to satisfy that artistic side. Or they want a change of pace. My only fear is that they won't make enough to pay for those college loans.

Good grief, not at all.
I had a friend that went from a mining engeneer to a software group leader - and he was bad at that, love him.
Do what interests you. Your alive!
