Yes, I've had several friends who's marriages I thought were 'perfect', but needless to say, it didn't work out. I was very shocked.

Yes, and it's very disheartening. I've seen couples who have been together for 20 + years and all of a sudden, they're getting divorced. I don't get it. Actually no marriage is perfect, but you can perfect healthy marital practices. My hubby and I talk about our marriage all the time. Not like obsessively, but we talk a LOT. I'm hoping that will always keep our marriage strong. I think couples grow apart and women lose interest in sex is a BIG reason that men go finding it elsewhere.....so when I have a friend who is getting married and she asks for advice, I always say to have lots of sex, even if she doesn't want to because it's a BIG ego buster for men. They may not want to show it, but it hurts to be rejected from your own wife.

There is no such thing as a perfect marriage BUT you can have a great marriage ... Yes i have seen this but it usually is because they are hiding something behind closed doors and act and talk different out in public then when they are at home.

I had to think about this one.... Of all the marriages I'm aquainted with, only two broke down and neither were perfect marriages.
As an estimate - I would have to say that I am aquainted with probably at least 200 couples if you include all my relatives, work friends, church friends and others.

I would have to say no.
I work hard at keeping my marrage at lest "going". We give it check ups, repair problems, change the pace every so often so it does not get stagnit, give it a good paint job when needed to cover the warn out spots, keep it clean as we can and do not take it off road,,,it ain't that kind of marriage. LOL

Yuppers. And it almost happened to me too. ***** was stringing me along while grabbing some other jerks figgs. Luckily it broke before we got serious so I escaped that one. Thank God!!!!
When a man thinks he has a perfect marriage, he should be very careful. Keep yer eyes open cause usually when she thinks that she has you around her funger, she starts putting out for other guys. It sucks.... but women can be stupid.

If it was a perfect marriage then it couldn't be broken down. Meaning, there is no such thing as perfection.

There are NO perfect marriages, it is impossible for there to be a perfect marriage since there are NO perfect humans. There has only been ONE perfect human on this earth and he was crucifed over 2,000 years ago.
