I'm tired of people making rude comments about Anna Nicole.

Regardless of the life the women lead, we are no one to judge.

I feel terrible for her family's loss. Anyone agree? Or is this world filled with cold hearted, disrespectful people?

I do agree with you. I basically had no use for her, but the fact that she died is terrible. I think she must have been a very sad person, losing her son and all the other stuff. It is very sad that she died and left her new daughter motherless. Some people will find anything to make a rude remark about.

The only disrespect I see going on is from people who have the nerve to mention Smith in the same sentence with Marilyn Monroe.

Monroe was an actress who could sing, dance and perform comedy very well. Her movies are still great today, 50-plus years after they were made.

Smith just acted like a doped-out crack whore. She'll just be the answer to some trivia questions in a few short years. Her "speech" at that awards show told us all we need to know about her.

But most importantly, (and even if we assume that her idiotic behavior was just an act) she was a terrible mother, to both of her kids. How much time did she spend with her daughter during the last five months? Her daughter wasn't even in the country when Smith died... I'll bet Anna couldn't have picked the poor kid out of a lineup if her life depended on it.

Everyone's acting so sad that her little girl will "grow up without a mother", but the fact is, she never HAD a mother to begin with. And her older son had her as a "mother"... how'd THAT work out?

Smith was a lot of things, but a mother was not one of them.

Would anyone here trade the mother that raised them with Anna Nicole Smith? (and guys, we KNOW how YOU'LL answer that one)

A pathetic person, and a trivial and meaningless show business 'career'.

yes it is sad that she died and lots of people are cold hearted but Anna Nichole had a terrible life based on her choices now look where she is. I'm not saying that she has but she probably died like Marylin Monroe with all the drugs and stuff.

I agree. Some people (from the insensitivity I've seen in YA) just try to get their kicks by making absurb comments. They contribute nothing. Hopefully, it won't be their life story.

Once again, I will state my position that the deceased no longer exist and are not entitled to any special brand of "respect". Nobody here knew or cared about "Anna Nicole" while she was alive, so I don't see why her overdose changes anything. Thousands of people die every day. Why should I feel terrible about one particular person? This kind of emotional, illogical sentimentality is one of the main reasons why I'm glad to be an atheist. If you find that cold-hearted or disrespectful, that's fine with me, but at least it's not PHONY.
