If we have African-Americans ( blacks), Native-Americans( Browns) why not European-Americans ( Whites)?

African-Americans, call themselves by that name to HONOR their ancestery and Africa. Whites careless about Eruope, they left Europe in the first place to New Land/America, when Africa DID NOT, but were forced and brought here. See the difference?

Black people have respect and honor for their ancestery place in Africa. Whites don't have that for Europe. Like I said, they left it there in the first place. Therefore that is why there is no such a thing called, "European-American".

I call human beings of eu descent eu American. I view "whiteness" as a mentality, frequently linked with racism, ethnocentricism, vanity, lack of expertise, entitlement, and/or low intellectualism. some descendants of Europeans in us of a have a "white" mentality, some do not. I view "black" as being more effective of a mentality besides quite than a authentic ethnic association, frequently linked with those who're descended from those enslaved by potential of above reported crew.

because people want to be politically correct and not offend anyone for fear of being sued. very few of the "african-americans" are actually directly from africa, but have african descendants from 150 years ago. my italian ancestors came over less than 100 years ago, why is there not a European-American box on my questionnaires and surveys? because i am white/caucasian. what the hell is a caucasian?!?

Blacks don't like to be called "African Americans" because not all blacks were decendants from africans. So there you go. You aren't special. And Native Americans still exist? I thought all the white people killed them. They nearly did!!!!

I think a law law should be passed. If your a citizen and call yourself anything other then American, you should be prosecuted.

In 2007 we still divide ourselves by color, race, and ancestrial origin. The only way to get over our shady pasts is to get over ourselves, but that sh*t will never happened, too many of us are threatened and intimidated by the other.
