Firstly, you shld try talking to yr mom and let her understand dat u will nt lose yr virginity becos u use tampons, maybe yr family doctor can help to explain? and believe me there are other ways to lose virginity but we are NOT going into dat for now :P (in case u r underage).

Secondly, you shld tell her dat sanitary pads make u feel uncomfortable, considering the fact dat PMS makes u feel like the whole world owes u big time, which sucks equally :)
You don wan to add on to it.

And lastly, now there are ultra slim pads which are quite comfortable to use, why not give it a go? :) ..is all abt getting use to it.. :D ..just rember to look for cotton top sheet which is much comfortable and does nt rub against yr skin, is nt a nice feeling , trust me :)

i sincerely hope yr mom can understand hw u feel.. u just need to sort it out with her, who knows she might pay for your next box of tampons! LOL

In this day and age, most men couldn't care less if you are a virgin or not. And tampon use doesn't mean you aren't a virgin.
As long as you haven't had sex, you are a virgin.

Your mom should learn that those are old wives tales and get with the current age. I'm in my 50's and I wore tampons as a teen. Now 35 yrs later your mom is still saying that same old story we used to get in the 1970's. That's probably where she heard it. lol

Do what is comfortable for you and if you have to put them away I wouldn't worry about it. It's not like you are doing something wrong.

Okay I don't want to say anything bad about your mom, but a tampon is not sex.
Aside from that, it's your body, you're in charge. You can buy packs now that are small - pocket sized. Buy some and hide them in your locker and just take a few home at night or whatever you have to do.

IF you get married, hopefully the man you marry will be intelligent enough to know the difference between coitus and tampon usage.

u need to tell her to try them herself! kotex are nasty and bulky and they can smell. i have a daughter that is 16 and have tried to get her to try tampons cuz she runs track but for some reason she wont. tampons are so much more descreet and sanitary. who cares if yur husband doesnt believe you are a virgin? why would u marry him if he doesnt and why would he ask u to marry him if he doesnt believe u?i would jus keep using whatever makes u feel best. good grief us women have it bad enough as it is !

It is your body and you should be able to take care of yourself the way you want. Try and talk to your mom about why you like using tampons better then pads.

Your mom sounds old fashoned.
Guys don't care, trust me.These days I think it's pretty rare to find a virgin by the time you get married anyway.

I would try to talk to your mom about this, and why she thinks your husband won't believe you are a virgin. But if you are buying them, its your body, and you can use them. Tell her you appreciate her advice, but this is your choice.

I dont know why she thinks that. They do not do anything that your future husband would think your not a virgin. And if that man really is your soul mate, then he would trust in you.

She sounds like a very ignorant woman, if you will pardon me for being so blunt. Next time you buy some hide them better.
