Never, but I could have used them. My teeth are not bad, but they are not perfect.

yes ... Quite a few of my teeth were impacted or partially impacted, and I had some problems with congenital defects in my jaws. So I HAD to have braces on my teeth just to make sure that I could keep as many as possible.
Then ... there are the Braces for the feet -- and that is another matter entirely! (Right now -- I am splinted, taped, and booted up because I broke multiple bones in my foot). Some folks have these for congenital conditions as well.

Yes, I did in Elementary and Middle School for a total of six years. But now my teeth are perfect.

Nope.. they took 6 teeth out instead so my teeth were great.
and now i'm 17 and my wisdom teeth are coming through...they are starting to get a little bit wonky ..... they are not bad now but they are slowly getting worse....which means i might have to have a brace in my twenties!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. dentists... evil... grrr

I actually had them twice-once with this weird appliance, and once with just straight braces.
